CHEETAH Webinar - UV-Fluorescence Analysis and comparison with other optical characterization methods

Abstract

When illuminating laminated PV modules with UV radiation, often the encapsulant will emit fluorescent radiation in the visible range. The patterns that are thereby exhibited often correlate with cracks in the cells. In the webinar, we will discuss the prerequisite for a measurement system, the best practice for acquiring such images, and discuss the current state of the interpretation of the images and compare the results to other common imaging methods such as thermography or electroluminescence.
